In the WEE hours of the night, I step out into an unknown venture that will be inspiring, informational, up lifting, and yes even some heartaches. This being my first BLOG ever, I’m hoping those of you that are out there, will let me know, what it is you want to know more about.
My goal that I have for doing all of this is awareness to helping others that have less than me. Now in saying that, I know, give a man a fish and he eats a meal. But teach him how to fish and he will eat for a life time. Side note, teach a woman to fish and she’ll feed the whole community. You all will get to know me pretty quick. I love to laugh and make others smile.
For starters, we have a lot of prep work that has to be done, reason that we were unable to do the gardens last year. The fact that both gardens were given manure and lime in spring of 2013, the gardens were a solid mass of grass. And HEALTHY grass may I add to that. So we had a few students and teachers come over from John Barsby Community School, to give a helping hand to conquer this dilemma. It was of GREAT effort and FUN.
A major addition that was given was one green house that is 20’x14’, which is called the “Baby”, greenhouse for ALL seeds to be planted. And the second one that was given as a loaner is 12’x14’, which is “Junior” greenhouse, for bigger plants before going into the gardens.

Randy had two young boys from church that worked putting up the greenhouses as well as making the benches. While the boys were building, I then had two young girls from church that planted the seeds.
This is a prime example of how Randy and I Love imparting what we know to the next generation. Win, win situation.
